Terms of Service

Last updated: July 16, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of relaybell, a web push notification service operated by Nexistech(nexistech.in) (“relaybell”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

relaybell lets you collect browser push subscriptions from visitors to your website and send them notifications, along with related tools (segmentation, automation, analytics and an API). We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Your account

3. Consent & your responsibilities

You are the controller of your subscribers’ data. You are responsible for:

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use relaybell to:

5. Your data

You retain ownership of your data and your subscriber lists. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process that data in order to provide the service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy; where we act as your processor, our Data Processing Agreement applies. You can export or delete your data at any time.

6. Early access, plans & fees

relaybell is currently in early access and free to use. Paid plans may be introduced in future; we will give reasonable notice before charging, and early adopters keep the founder pricing we offer them. You are not obliged to continue using the service if paid plans do not suit you.

7. Availability

We work to keep relaybell available and reliable, but during early access the service is provided without a formal uptime commitment. We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the service, and will try to give notice of material changes. Delivery of push notifications also depends on third-party browser push services (such as those operated by Google, Apple, Mozilla and Microsoft), which we do not control.

8. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, abuses the service, or creates legal or security risk — where practical, with notice and an opportunity to fix the issue. On termination we will delete or return your data as described in the Privacy Policy and DPA.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any notification will be delivered.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 5,000. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law (including consent requirements).

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will update the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
